Down East Designing puts the same attention to detail into a smaller project as a larger home or addition design. In addition, a smaller project lends itself to a more hand’s off approach, where services may be more of a consulting or collaborative approach after design completion.

How many design changes are allowed?

The initial design deposit covers multiple design changes to the original design concept. If you decide to change direction to an entirely new design, then an additional design deposit would be required.

Can I work as my own general contractor?

Absolutely. This is the most cost effective approach you could take. Down East Post & Beam can also act in a consulting position only or collaboratively, as an extra pair of hands and to provide guidance and experience.
